The version number just raises a few digits (from 14.02.01 to 14.02.08), but the improvements are quite huge: S3 Graphics released a new Linux driver for Chrome 500 and Chrome 400 Series with many improvements compared to last release from November (e.g. OpenGL 3.0 and 64 Bit support). The package also includes a patch to MPlayer to enable GPU accelerated H.264/VC-1/MPEG2 video decoding (to make the ChromotionHD Engine working with Linux).
