Harald Welte, who was active in projects like OpenMoko, netfilter/iptables and gpl-violations.org, became VIA's Open Source Liaison. This is a real huge step in improving Linux support for the IGPs of VIA Technologies and hopefully this also has some impact on future Linux drivers or even sources and documentation of S3 Graphics. I contacted him to tell him about the poor support from S3 Graphics. Let's hope that he could change something. The openchrome and unichrome projects and so the users will be the beneficiaries!
